This is a picture of me and my niece Brittany. She came with my twin sister to visit from Virginia City. We were having such a great time together laughing our heads off and my sister snapped this picture. I loved it so much I had to turn it into a digital painting like thingy.
A little about myself. I'm happily married to who I feel is the most wonderful man on the planet. We have been married now for 19 years. We have two wonderful sons. My oldest is attending the University of the Pacific here in sunny California. My youngest is in his first year of high school. We own and operate a small plant nursery that takes every ounce of energy we have.
I first started doing digital scrapbooking about 15 years ago. It was so much fun learning how to cut and past all my sons pictures into scrapbooks. After my son grew up they got tired of me sticking my camera in their faces so I could scrapbook them. Well I had to find something else to do. I went back to doing some traditional work but it seemed to take to much time and most of all money so back to digital it was. I finally got a hold a copy of Photoshop and was frustrated because I had no-one to help me. I still kept plugging away to learn it and finally became somewhat comfortable with the basics. I became a member here at DA three years ago. I uploaded some drawings and some stuff I played around with. I was so frustrated with the lack of help, so I left. Then just last year I was playing around on the internet and looked up Photoshop tutorials. Wow was I surprised with the amount of help. Let me tell you I was so determined to learn as much as possible. I devoured every tutorial I could find. Then I remembered DA. I looked it up and saw I was still there. I started up loading some pieces and had great responses. I joined a few groups and decided to make my own group. I wanted a group to help those who find it so frustrating getting help. So I came up with a learning group called it is a small group but we all love and help each other. I have made so many new friends and keep making new friends everyday. I am now officially an addicted. I can't be away for more than a few hours.
