I'm scared

This is my first entry to this contest. We are to remember back in our childhood and remember what scared us. I was always afraid of being left by myself. Even if there were people in the house I just couldn't be by myself. When by yourself you hear things link creaks and bumps and you imagine all kinds of things.
In this picture a little girl has found herself alone in an empty room. Maybe a room in the attic or one in an upstairs room. She hears creeks and noises and imagines a spooky mist in front of her.
