Tara wanted to find out what was in the vase. Her mother told her no. Tara cried and went to her room. Later that day close to sunset Tara found the vase unguarded by her mom. She looked around then took the vase and ran out to the field where she knew no one was able to see her. She place it on the ground and knelt down beside it. She knew her mother told her no but she just had to see what was in it and why her mother was protecting it. She slowly raised the lid and then knew she was in real big trouble. She let out the gods .....

It beautiful, and almost doesn't need the little girl. But the addition of the girl and the butterflies just screams the end of winter and the beginning of warmer days. Well done!

Beautiful. And I love how you used the texture to create an "evening in early Spring" type of feeling.

There is something not quite right with the butterflies. Butterflies are not very big, and you have butterflies in different distances, in the front, in the middle, in the back.

The butterfly nearest to the viewer looks like the right size comparing it to where the little girl is sitting. Then what should happen is, the butterflies in the background behind the little girl is should be the smallest butterfly(you have to make a decision what is the furthest you want to go with the butterflies), then the butterflies between the nearest and the furthest from the viewer should be between the two other s in sizes. That would give the foreground area a clearer sense of space.
